In 1971 Clarks introduces the Desert Trek, a low-cut walking shoe with crepe soles and a striking seam in the middle of the shoe. Like the Wallabee and Desert Boot, the Desert Trek became a success in Jamaica and appeared on the feet of the most famous Jamaican artists and celebrities. Reggaeton and dancehall album covers were full of Clarks in the '70's and shortly afterwards artists even referred to the shoes in their music. Over the years many different models have been launched with their own unique style.
At FRESHCOTTON, we select items by quality and design. Clarks Originals meets both the characteristics with their comfortable, sturdy and fashionable designs. The Desert Trek is a perfect example of high quality and design and can be found in our Clarks shop.
