Nike’s D/MS/X label will introduce three new sneakers to it’s collection and they’ll all be variations of the Nike Signal sneaker.
The Nike Signal is a product of the Nike D/MS/X (or dimsix) label, born out of a desire to challange the preconveived notions of what a sneaker should look like. The sneaker draws inspiration from extreme sports such as motorcross, and it’s design is based around how custom bikes and cars end up looking after being taken apart and being reconstructed. It’s multilayered design makes for interesting color combinations.
Although the shoe was made for aeasthetical purposes, Nike’s emphasis on function is still present this time around. The sneakers 2-layer construction provides midfoot support for it’s wearer and the dual-density foam provides comfort at every step.
The multilayered sneaker comes in different colorways, the AT5303-022 is a combination of black and white, with a transparant layer on top. The AT5303-022, which features a mostly white design with a red swoosh. The most interesting design is that of the AT5303-800, which combines shades of orange and blue, giving it the most unique look of all.
