Karhu has an interesting history and it's existence was used as inspiration for the new Karhu 2.0 Fusion Kitee Pack. The Finnish company started out in a small village named Kitee and produced ski's from local lumber. The ski's grew in popularity and were soon worn by both athletes and soldiers.
These same ski's are still popular to this day. One of Karhu's sponsored athletes who uses these ski's is Harri Kirvesniemi. Karhu teamed up with Harri to visit the small village where the company started. The new Fusion 2.0 Kitee pack will be released in honor of athletes like Harri and their accomplishments.
The pack is named after the small village where Karhu started in 1916 with producing ski's. The sneakers are made of water repellant nylon and elastane. Some parts of the sneaker have suede details made of pigskin. The sneakers also have EVA midsoles, which are designed to make walking more comfortable.
The Karhu Fusion 2.0 Kitee pack will be purchasable on our webshop soon. The sneakers will be available in two color palettes: Chocolate Torte / Shadow Gray & Chocolate Torte / Blue Fog. Checkout the entire Karhu collection here!
