Together with Dutch illustrator Lennard Kok Obey made a new collection called: Second Nature. The collection exists out of two longsleeves and two t-shirts.
Lennard Kok is 30 years old and comes from Utrecht. In 2012 he graduated from the University of the Arts Utrecht and the same year he was appointed as the FONTANEL Dutch Design Talent. Since then he worked for several big names, for example The New York Times, Nike, but also Tivoli Vredenburg. See how he worked here below.
Lennard’s drawings are minimalistic but when you look closer you see a witty and sometimes surreal narrative. Lennard chooses a clean aesthetic, using bold and black lines because he wants to tell a story as simple as possible In Second Nature Kok plays with the bonding between animals and humans and he did use colours. The colour palet exists out of three colors; purple, blue and orange.
All shirts have had a garment dye treatment, which makes the items very soft.
The Obey x Lennard kok collection: Second Nature is available now at Freshcotton.
