This week’s Editors’ Pick is based on the LA Trash trend. The look started out in Los Angeles, California (obviously) and features sneaker, designer and vintage elements. Checkout the blog to find out more on this week’s Editors’ Pick.

“One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” This is a quote which in a way accurately describes vintage clothing. When we talk about vintage clothing we talk about items which have been produced years ago and clearly represent the era in which they were produced. The pictures above depict both A$AP Rocky and Travis Scott wearing vintage tees. Within the LA Trash look t-shirts are usually one of the go-to items if you are looking to add a vintage element to your fit.

Designer clothing refers to fashionable / luxurious clothing made by a designer, it can also refer to the label of a designer. An example of such a brand is Stone Island, which was founded in 1982 by designer Massimo Osti. It is usual for people going for the LA Trash fit to choose jackets or accessories like sunglasses when picking the designer element of their look. An example hereof can be seen in the picture above of Drake wearing a Stone Island jacket while at a basketball game.

Now onto the last element within the LA Trash look, sneakers. Exclusive sneakers finish off the look completely. Many LA rappers can be seeing wearing an exclusive pair daily. Some even have their very own collabs, such as Travis Scott (as seen above) and Kanye West to just name a few. The picture above showcases the Travis Scott collab with Nike, where he gave his own twist to the famous Air Jordan 1.

Now where do all these celebrities usually go to when shopping for their LA Trash style outfit? Well, Round Two is the answer. Providing anything from designer streetwear, too vintage and even exclusive sneakers. All the necessary ingredients if you are looking for a LA Trash inspired fit. Round Two was established in 2013 by Sean Wotherspoon, Chris Russow and Luke Fracher who shared the same passion for sneakers and clothing. They founded the company in Virginia on the principle of bringing their customers the best possible deals for clothing there is. Making it possible for them to look good at an affordable price.

However, there isn’t a Round Two store on this side of the Atlantic yet. Luckily for you we at FRESHCOTTON can help you along if you’re looking for a LA Trash inspired look. The style is a reflection of how the people of the state of California are regarded as easygoing. Anything goes and nothing can be too crazy. Meaning you can combine all the earlier mentioned elements however you see fit. Checkout the look in the section below.

This week’s Editors’ Pick features Daily Paper’s Foach Shirt over an Off White tee from Quality Blanks. The Camo Pants are from Carhartt WIP. The LA Trash inspired look is completed with the Stüssy cap and Nike’s Air Force 1’s with bone colored highlights.
