“I would rather die of passion than of boredom” Vincent van Gogh once said. With this quote in mind, Dutch-Parisian artist/typographer, Pieter Ceizer has teamed up with The Van Gogh Museum to create a painting and clothing collection. This collection aims at paying homage to Van Gogh and the city of Paris. Where Paris represents being the go-to city for artists, freethinkers, and avant-gardists.

Ceizer does this by combining his signature typographic work and illustrations in his interpretation of ‘Quinces, lemons, pears, and grapes’. The collection consists of two long sleeves, two t-shirts, a hoodie, and two mugs. Each of these items either has Van Gogh’s quote or Ceizer’s rendition of the famous painting on it. The centerpiece of this collection is the woolen golden-toned varsity jacket which has the original still life printed on the inside. The outside features Ceizer’s fruit embroidered on the back and Vincent’s quote, with two patches on the front.

Bring out your inner artist! The Ceizer x Van Gogh Museum collection will be available from the 1st of December at FRESHCOTTON.
