The Amsterdam Dance Event is starting soon and from the looks of it there will be plenty to do this year. The ADE is the one time of the year that the entire city gets turned into a designated spot for festivals. An event this big is host of a lot of parties. Still not sure which parties to visit? Worry not, for we might have some suggestions.

The ADE has its own program aside from the parties that it hosts. This program features a lot of talks by public speakers. One of those talks is called Pattern Recognition: Trend-Spotting. This will be an in depth analysis of underground songs and techno music. Interested in finding out more about your favorite party songs? Click here to learn more about Pattern Recognition: Trend-Spotting.

An other talk that might be interesting for the hip-hop fans amongst us is that of Jiggy Djé, the head of Top Notch. Jiggy will talk about his record label and the history behind it. Click here if you want to find out more about The Netherland's biggest hip-hop label.

Wally Badarou will also speak during the Amsterdam Dance Event. Wally is a member of the Compass Point All Stars, a recording team that has in the past worked with Mick Jager, Grace Jones, Joe Cocker and many more. And now, the night schedule.

The easiest party to reach for those of us that travel by public transportation is Audio Obscura x Motor City Drum Ensemble. This party will be held at Centraal Station Amsterdam, easy to reach and a great way to start off ADE.

Rush Hour x Rainbow Disco Festival is a party that is being organized by a team who has in the past organized parties in Asia. This year they'll have an awesome party at Shelter.

DGTL will organize a couple of parties near the NDSM warehouse on Friday night. The line-up seems to be very promising, with acts of Orbital en floating Points. The German duo Are will also be present.

Pip Goes Skatecafé is an awesome party on an even more awesome location. Pip and Skatecafé have been working together for more than three years, so this party is guaranteed to be fun.

If the party Friday night wasn’t sufficient enough then maybe it’s a good idea to visit the Breakfast Club Saturday morning. Free and fresh breakfast included!

We also recommend the party Lumberjacks in Hell x ADE x Meneer Nieges. This party may be small but is certainly a sick event to consider going to.

Just like on Thursday another great event will be held in Shelter on Saturday. Festimi x Cooking With Palms Trax.

If by Sunday you still got some energy left then Hunee en Orpheu The Wizard bij Garage Noord is certainly worth te visit. A take-over with disco connoisseur Hunee.

Be sure not to forget to purchase your FRESHCOTTON x ADE merch to look stylish during your ADE experience.
